JOIN US IN SEPTEMBER FOR AN UNFORGETTABLE NIGHT OF MUSICAL STORYTELLING with AMERICAN TREASURE ELLIS PAUL!

We are thrilled to have Ellis Paul join us on September 28th when he brings his signature brand of remarkably personal, relatable, heartwarming and melodic songcraft to the Edmond Town Hall stage! Mr. Paul will be the featured musical guest in our evening of music and comedy.

His songs have appeared in several blockbuster films (Me, Myself, and Irene; Shallow Hal, Hall Pass) and have been covered by award winning country artists (Sugarland, Kristian Bush, Jack Ingram). Through a steady succession of albums of his own – a remarkable 23 releases so far – and a constant touring
presence around the world, Paul’s audience has grown into a loyal legion of fans. Along the way, he has picked up an impressive number of awards including the prestigious Kerrville New Folk Award, 15 Boston Music Awards, An Honorary Doctorate from the University of Maine, the 2019 International Acoustic
Music Awards Artist of the Year and most recently his album, The Storyteller’s Suitcase, was named the 2019 NERFA  Album of the Year.

Congratulations to jim and shasha on making the final 8

Newtown natives Jim and Sasha Allen's experience on NBC's "The Voice," came to end Tuesday night after fans did not save them during the elimination round.

The father and son were the only ones left from Team Ariana (Grande) after Holly Forbes was eliminated last week.

During the elimination round, the duo went against Joshua Vacanti and Jershika Maple from John Legend's team and Lana Scott from Blake Shelton's team. "Tuesdays are the worst days ever," Grande said in tears when the last finalist to make it to the "Top 5" was going to be revealed following Monday's semifinal performances.

The Newtown natives were the first ones to perform, singing "Rich Girl" by Hall and Oates. Grande said it would be "a mistake not to have you in the finale," and expressed how "amazing" and "irreplaceable" their energy is on the show.

During the Tuesday's elimination round, Sasha mentioned how "grateful" he was to have had Grande as a coach during this experience. In a past interview, Sasha said, "She's an amazing person and coach and mentor. We are both every day like 'god, we're so lucky to be on Team Ariana."

The father-son duo from Newtown has been playing music together for as long as Sasha can remember, he said during the blind auditions.

Jim has previously played in folk and bluegrass bands and currently works as a music teacher. According to his personal website, Jim's style is "forged in roots, rock, country and blues." The father and son recently became an official duo and have been playing in local venues, according to a press release.

Sasha is the first trans person to make it past the battle rounds and the third trans person to be on "The Voice," according to his Instagram post. Sasha also shared a post of a past Tik Tok where he dropped out of school last January to follow his singing dreams and followed it up with where he is now.
